Two Fish Vase
At the end of the 19th century, Japan opened its doors to the outside world.
The Western world discovered then the orientalism that was to influence all the decorative arts until the end of the Art Nouveau period.
In the naturalist style, Christofle created a small flower vase of 15cm. This piece, inspired by two fishes (japanses perch) symetrically intertwined resting on the tail fins.
This vase "Two Fish Vase" is a reproduction from Bouilhet Christofle museum.
